Delivery of a comprehensive process documentation package for MAHLE Krotoszyn, a critical supply chain partner for BMW. The project focused on technical knowledge transfer for the production of CT302 series oil-water heat exchangers (OWWT), requiring advanced fluency in metallurgy, metrology, and industrial automation terminology.

The primary challenge was precisely rendering the nuances of work instructions (AA), inspection plans (PA), and machine setup procedures (PAR). The assignment required deep integration into Zero Defect protocols and IATF 16949 standards.

For several years, I have been providing translation services for one of the largest trailer manufacturers in Europe.

As part of this cooperation, I personally translate training and service materials, as well as provide support in many other language combinations within the European Union.

The demand from this client allowed me to acquire new skills and expand my offer to include the preparation of audiovisual materials.

When heating technology leader Viessmann appointed general contractor SPECBAU Polska to build its new manufacturing facility, SPECBAU entrusted the linguistic management of this strategic investment to me based on our successful track record.

Returning to Kölleda after three years was clear proof that quality speaks for itself. Partnering with three fellow interpreters for nearly six months, I supported technical training on new engine variants while recharging after shifts in Weimar’s historic parks.

At a manufacturing plant producing batteries for electric vehicles, I was responsible for coordinating interpreting services delivered by my team under extreme pandemic conditions.

We worked under a strict isolation protocol, split into Red and Blue teams with zero physical interaction.

Memories of protective gowns, medical masks, and steaks ordered in a deserted Dresden city center remain permanently etched in my mind.

As an interpreter and coordinator, I took part in a multi-month qualification project for newly hired employees of the then-new engine factory in Jawor.

For nine months, I not only provided consecutive interpreting on the shop floor of the German sister plant but also supervised the work of over twenty interpreters involved in this massive undertaking.

It was my biggest professional challenge to date, teaching me humility above all else. Along the way, I learned engine construction down to the smallest detail, understood the dynamics of the assembly line, and destroyed the transmission in my company car by constantly commuting between work and home.

As part of construction projects carried out in Poland for German corporations, SPECBAU was looking for a German translator.

The beginning of the cooperation was calm and involved construction documentation and commercial contracts of small volumes.

Over time, on-site interpreting and regular support for selected projects were added.

I provided translation support for an international manufacturer of acoustic insulation for the automotive industry during the launch of their plant in Poland.

I have particularly fond memories of the winter in the Austrian Alps, where I provided simultaneous interpreting at the training center, and the Swiss army knife I received as a gift from the crew.

Unfortunately, it was confiscated by security at the famous Parisian tower. Luckily, this did not affect the long-standing cooperation with Carcoustics.

In early 2016, my work with electric motors, gearmotors, and frequency inverters began — in short: industrial drive technology.

Between 2016 and 2025, I translated thousands of pages of marketing and technical documentation into Polish, covering drive components, controllers, and complete automation systems.

For nearly a decade, there has hardly been a month without active projects for SEW-EURODRIVE.

The successful completion of the SAP translation project paved the way for expanding collaboration with KP in subsequent years.

This time, we stepped out of the office setting and onto the shop floor.

Throughout 2014, I provided on-site interpreting at the Poznań plant during the commissioning of new bottling lines, as well as during off-site training sessions at the manufacturer’s headquarters — KRONES in Neutraubling.

In the years 2012–2013, I spearheaded the team responsible for the complete Polish localization of SAP documentation for the Poznań brewery.

This was not ordinary translation – it was Localization Engineering on a massive scale. By implementing then-novel cloud-based CAT systems and proprietary data processing scripts, we translated several million words in just over a year.

This project enabled the unification of management standards for the entire SABMiller group in Poland, proving that automation is the key to efficiency.

I have not yet had the opportunity to personally translate for this Japanese manufacturer, but I have repeatedly organized support for small and large translation and interpreting projects in various language combinations (Italian, French, English, Hungarian, Russian, Czech) - both in Poland and abroad.

This collaboration, which has been going well for over 15 years, has taught me flexibility and the necessity of cooperating with the client in the face of problems and conflicts.

When a major Korean home-appliance manufacturer acquired production facilities in Wronki, it required immediate interpreting and translation support.

I quickly assembled a dedicated team of English-language interpreters who rose to the challenge.

The daily commute to Wronki brought back memories of my university years, which I had partly funded by working at Amica Wronki as a German instructor.

On behalf of a German wind turbine manufacturer, I served as an interpreter during high-level negotiations on connecting wind farms to the national grid.

The assignment was highly demanding due to the broad range of legal and technical topics and an intensive meeting schedule.

As a young translator & interpretor, I provided consecutive interpreting during two several-week-long training sessions on the operation of Deutz engines, which, combined with generators, were to convert gas into electricity.

Although more than 20 years have passed, I still remember the inspiring conversations about combustion engines with the German designer, which enriched my technical knowledge.

For over 20 years, I have been regularly working for a Poznań-based car manufacturer – providing both interpreting at various plants (foundry, assembly) and translation services.

It was here - in the factory near Poznań - that I first professionally encountered the automotive industry and saw car assembly and plasma cutting live.
