In the language industry, the ultimate sign of trust isn't a written recommendation letter; it's the client calling to say: "Kamil, we're heading back to Kölleda!" That was exactly how this project kicked off in 2021. Three years after our initial large-scale deployment in Kölleda, I was asked to return to provide interpreting support and coordinate logistics for personnel arriving from the sister plant in Jawor.

This time, the footprint was leaner — instead of a 20-person team, we operated as a tight, 4-person task force. The operational goals had shifted as well: MDC Power required extra production capacity, which the Jawor plant was positioned to supply. Technicians from the Polish twin plant trained in Kölleda, already intimately familiar with the machinery, layouts, and manufacturing workflows. Having built strong personal connections during their earlier stay, many were eager to return.

For our interpreting team, returning to MDC Power felt equally familiar. We reconnected with both the German engineers in Kölleda and the Polish teams from Jawor. Re-engaging with complex internal combustion terminology provided an invaluable bonus, continuously sharpening the accuracy of our ongoing technical translations for the Jawor site.
